We have had a busy weekend. Out for dinner on Friday, then up early and off to Glasgow for Auction, Costco, Ikea and Makro on Saturday then home to unpack and simultaneously watch the rugby (not as easy as it sounds) and then get ready for Margaret & Bill to come round for tea. Had a great night with them - as always - suffice to say the night ended at 2.30am and included Thai food, lots of vino and riverdancing... yes, you did read that correctly. (David came 1st in the dance-off). The things that seem like a good idea at the time...Sunday morning brought its own issues due to the excesses of the night before, but we made it up the Knock with Hugo and then back to get started on Sunday lunch for the family. Had a lovely afternoon with everyone and we collapsed after the last of our guests left at about 8pm.

Action shot of David as he was trying to avoid being in the photo....
We had another (early) Mother's Day in Inverness with the Gedi last weekend. We went out for a meal on Saturday night and went bowling on Sunday. We also started looking at holidays over Easter, the only time this year that we will all be able to go away together to celebrate David's Mum and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary.

Grace (3) took this one of Vikki and I...

I see from my calendar that this Saturday is officially the "start of spring". It was lovely to have snowdrops and tulips in the house for Mother's Day. I am yet to see a lamb but hope to this weekend when Becky comes to stay. (I haven't told her that all our clothes are in the guest room as we are about to proceed decorating the bedrooms - hope she likes clutter!)
